Vol. 1-3 is a boxed set.Vol. 1 was copyrighted 1972 and vol. 4 in 1977. In 1966 students at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee school in Georgia interviewed their grandparents and older people about folklore and other subjects. As a class project they published a magazine titled Foxfire. These are the first 4 books published from the magazine articles. The articles include mountain crafts, moonshining, spinning and weaving, ghost stories, faith healing, banjos,wagon making,corn shuckin's and other affairs of plain living. Can meet in Winchester during the week.
